In Director Console, you can create backups of the database, the Director Console UI, and all the certificate files uploaded and restore them.
The backup of the database server stores the information of the following entities:
hardware
license
tasks executed
device count
users
The API Server stores the backup of the database server. However, you can also configure a remote SFTP server to store them.
Cronjob (job scheduler) manages the backup on both the servers by updating the data every day at midnight (UTC).
You can create multiple backups of the Director Console UI and restore them. The backup consist of the following Director Console entities:
License and license management information
Tasks status
Hardware information
Device count
LDAP and ADFS Authentication information
Director Console sessions
Director Component settings information
Uploaded certificates
You can also configure SFTP from the Director Console UI to store the backups.
