Handling API requests¶

API Request Workflow¶

Once you send an API request, the API Server validates it. If the request is valid, the API Server forwards it to the Fabric Server. Then, the Fabric-enabled LogPoint reads the request from the Fabric Server, makes the necessary changes and forwards the response back to the Fabric Server.

Handling LPSM requests¶

LPSM Request Workflow¶

When you make any LogPoint request from LPSM, it forwards the request to the LogPoint through a private network. The LogPoint then processes the request to make the necessary changes and sends the response back to the LPSM.
