Install AgentX Server in Logpoint

Install AgentX Server to enable log collection from Windows and Linux endpoints.

Prerequisites

• Logpoint v7.8.0 or later

• Administrator access to Logpoint

• AgentX Server .pak file downloaded from Help Center

• In distributed Logpoint setups, you must install AgentX Server on all Logpoints, including the Search Head

Procedure

1. Go to Settings > System Settings and select Applications.

2. Select Import.

3. Select Browse and locate the AgentX Server .pak file.

4. Select Upload.

Expected outcome

AgentX Server appears under Settings > System Settings > Plugins.

Verification

1. Go to Settings > System Settings and select Plugins.

2. Verify that AgentX Server is listed.
