Install AgentXKB in Logpoint

Install AgentX KB to enable log normalization, visualization dashboards, and search templates.

Prerequisites

• Logpoint v7.8.0 or later

• AgentX Server installed in Logpoint

• AgentX Manager installed in Logpoint

• Administrator access to Logpoint

• AgentX KB .pak file downloaded from Help Center

• In distributed Logpoint setups, you must install AgentX KB on all Logpoints, including the Search Head

Procedure

1. Go to Settings > System Settings and select Applications.

2. Select Import.

3. Select Browse and locate the AgentX KB .pak file.

4. Select Upload.

Expected outcome

AgentX KB appears under Settings > System Settings > Plugins.

Verification

1. Go to Settings > System Settings and select Plugins.

2. Verify that AgentX KB is listed.

3. Go to Settings > Knowledge Base and select Dashboards.

4. Select Vendor Dashboard from the dropdown.

5. Verify that AgentX dashboards appear (LP_AgentX - Agents Overview, LP_AgentX - Endpoints Compliance - PCI DSS, etc.).
