Verification
In SCCM:
Navigate to Monitoring > Deployments.
Locate the AgentX Client deployment.
Review deployment status and success/failure counts.
On endpoints:
Verify the AgentX Client service is running in Services (services.msc).
In Logpoint, go to Settings > Configuration > AgentX > Agents.
Verify that endpoints appear in the agents list.
Force immediate installation on workstations
To apply the installation immediately without waiting for the scheduled update:
On the Windows workstation, open Control Panel > Configuration Manager.
Select the Actions tab.
Select Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle.
Select Run Now.
Select OK.
This forces synchronization and applies the installation immediately.
Configuration guidelines
Use Purpose: Required for silent installation Setting Purpose to "Required" enables silent background installation. Setting it to "Available" may display command prompts during installation, potentially confusing users.
Distribution points must be configured Ensure distribution points are configured and synchronized before deployment. Missing distribution points cause installation failures.
Monitor deployment status Regularly check the Monitoring > Deployments view in SCCM to identify and troubleshoot installation failures.
