Sync

You can use sync to transfer configurations between Logpoints by exporting data from one instance and importing it into another. It exports the following configurations, from User Accounts, Configurations, and Knowledge Base in a .json file:

4. Repos

5. Routing Policies

6. Normalization Policies

7. Enrichment Sources

8. Enrichment Policies

9. Processing Policies

10. Parsers

11. Log Collection Policies

12. Devices/ Log Sources

13. Device Groups

14. Normalization Packages

15. Label Packages

16. Search Packages

17. Search Templates

18. Alert Rules

19. Dashboards

20. Fields

21. List and Tables

22. Macros

23. Search Views

To export data:

1. Go to Settings >> System Settings from the navigation bar and click Sync.

2. Select Include Devices, Repos, and Log Collection Policies.

3. Click Export Data. All the selected configurations are downloaded to your Logpoint in a .json file.

To import data:

When importing, if the configuration names are the same, the existing configuration is replaced by the new one.

1. Go to Settings >> System Settings from the navigation bar and click Sync.

2. Click Import Data.

3. Browse for the JSON file and click Upload.
